Artificial intelligence in brief is the simulation made by a human to simulate human thinking and to make our life easier through machines that are programmed with highly intelligent systems that can even solve complicated problems that a human may take hours solving it within a few seconds only.
In 1951 the first successful artificial intelligence program was created by Christopher Strachey

1 - Artificial narrow intelligence (ANI)
Artificial narrow intelligence is also known as weak intelligence. Why is it weak? Because it’s designed to perform a singular task only, it’s not designed for multi-tasking jobs.

The most familiar example we can talk about is apple Siri, it’s an artificial narrow intelligence as it depends on voice commands and do a singular task at a time and it’s very specific doing that task as well.

Artificial general intelligence can think, apply, act and take decisions at any situation.
Artificial intelligence systems must have the following:

Abstract thinking
Transfer learning
Cause and effect

It can pinpoint a certain location and show a full map with its estimate time

Artificial general intelligence is mainly created to perform any task that a human can perform or even more complex tasks than a human can perform regularly.

These technologies do not approach the cumulative ability of the human brain.
